It’s a short week due to Easter – one of the few public holidays that the university recognises. No lectures or tutorials on Good Friday. I guess if there is no footy, there can’t be anything else happening on the long weekend :p
The deadline for our first assignment has been extended until next Tuesday, i.e. after the Easter break. So for those of us that have left it until the eleventh hour, this is good news. It is extremely good news for me, as I have been attempting to keep at bay or shake off a lurgy which has been hanging around since last Thursday. So yes, I would prefer to be doing my Science Communication assignment, rather than laying low with a dreaded lurgy.
No bike ride this week either.
Also, I have missed out again on Connect, the Postgraduate Students’ Association (PSA) monthly social at The University Club. It definitely is on the first Thursday not the last Wednesday as advertised (PDF) as we were recently notified via email. Oh well, there is always next month.
In the meantime, there is a poll for the slogan for the next PSA t-shirt. I still rather like last year’s – ‘Thanks For Not Asking About My Thesis’.
